Hit the bike path for a 3 mile run to round out the week. The path was coated with a heavy dusting of snow, so the pace was pretty mellow as I was not in my screw shoes. Despite the weather channel's warning of high winds, I lucked out and got in the run before the wind picked up and while it was still pretty warm. Amazing how 28 degrees can feel like a heat wave!
Flora and fauna notes: There was a flock of 40 to 50 robins, accompanied by a number of chickadees, foraging in and around the sumac along the river banks near the start of the bike path. I was hoping to see some ducks floating at the river bend where there is flowing water, but no such luck this morning.
