With the snow and an afternoon spent hanging out with our friends down in South Boston, yesterday didn't consist of anything more taxing than eating, chatting and watching football. Today threatened to be more of the same, but we finally got out late this afternoon for a ski at Pineland Farms (Jeff, sorry we didn't make our decision earlier and let you know. We'll have to get together to ski at some point soon though!). Yesterday's snow was good and fluffy, and it had groomed out nicely.
As we typically gravitate towards the Oak Hill trails, today we consciously set out across the fields to ski down along the river and out by the yurt. The sun was shining, and it was relatively warm, although a bit windy in the fields. It was a beautiful afternoon to be out, and we really enjoyed our mellow hour-long classic ski together.

Great pictures! Oak Hill holds snow the best but the River trail is the prettiest. I would have been out there but skied with another dad at Riverside before the middle school race.
