Early Morning on the Cart Paths

Irene is still in the hospital but is slowly improving. We are thankful that this morning she was sitting up and drinking tea in her hospital bed, but still wish she would get better more quickly! Being in the hospital is no fun.

I was up and out early this morning, tiptoeing past Dana, who is staying with us, as quietly as possible. The morning was cool and sunny, the grass and spider webs wet with dew. I ran the cart paths for a nice six mile run. The golf course workers were out fixing up the course as I ran along, and the greens were getting watered, which meant I couldn't escape a few of the sprinklers. Still, it was a good change to be wet from sprinklers and not from overbearing humidity!
