Glow

Started out in the dark yesterday am and even when the sky did begin to brighten the woods remained murky for quite some time. We are losing daylight fast and the days of no headlamp runs at 6:00 am are now past. There were several footfalls that were misplaced and a few ankle turns that I could have done without. It makes for slow going out in the woods in the darkness but seeing the sky begin to lighten through the trees and the treetops glow with that beautiful golden autumn light, well, that kind of makes up for it ;) Lovely 7 miles through the Cathance.
