Beautiful Day

Billowing clouds, no humidity, bright sunshine, the sweet smell of milkweed in the air, field of grasses and wildflowers blowing in the warm breeze, tree swallows flitting about, the call of the red-winged blackbird, the sun sparkling off the ocean.

Got in a nice 12 miles through the Commons and out to Simpson's Point. The legs didn't feel quite as light and spry as I would have liked, but it is hard to beat this as a backdrop for a Friday afternoon run, so it certainly a bad way to spend a few hours. I really do love it out there.
