A Fall Walk at Bradbury

Today after lunch, we headed over to Bradbury for a walk in the woods. Skies were overcast, and it was cool and crisp - it felt like fall! And looked like it too. The leaves are definitely changing over to the brilliant yellows, oranges and reds of autumn, and the ferns and grasses are shifting from green to gold. We saw a number of phoebes and juncoes, as well as a hawk swooping through the hardwoods. It was a good, mellow walk, and afterwards, we spent a little time over at the playground too. A very nice afternoon excursion!

I love my baby backpack!

Hey Mindy,
Great post....I especially enjoyed it today because my daughter is at the hospital right now. She should deliver today or tomorrow.....

Kevin, ha, that's funny! Your mind is just elsewhere :-) How exciting about your daughter! Can't wait to see a photo of your newest grandchild after the grand entrance!
