Summer humidity still lingers and man, the early morning running has been muggy!

Got out yesterday for six miles on the cart paths. Tire overall but legs felt ok. Saw two red newts along the way and stopped to eat a few of what will probably be the final blackberries of the season.

This morning, I did not want to get out. Going back to starting runs in the dark is a tough transition. Pushed myself out the door, and the skies must have known I needed some encouragement as I was treated to a beautiful sunrise over the Heath. So pretty and peaceful with the Heath full of cotton sedge and the sky alight with color. Took it easy and got in another six for the week.
