Happy Birthday, Sam! 💗🎂 Hard to believe that you are 11 years old! Time truly does fly!
The morning started with the making of what has now become the traditional donut cake 😋🍩
Then it was on to setting up her room with new curtains, new comforter, rug and reading pillow. The shelves were part of the make-over too but we set those up a few weeks ago so that we could get a feel for how it was all going to fit together! The room looks great, and Sam is SO happy with it!
After lunch, we drove down to the swinging bridge and walked along the bike path and over the green bridge into Brunswick, where we stopped for birthday pumpkin pie gelato - yum! - and returned via the swinging bridge. A beautiful afternoon to be out enjoying ice cream and sunshine! (1.6 miles walked)
From there, we headed up to Fairwinds Farm to pick a few pumpkins 🎃
And we capped off the day with sushi take out and donut cake! A good birthday day! 🎉
So lucky to have this great, sweet, smiling, kind, funny girl in our life. Sam, we love you to the moon and back 💖
