Sunrise

Didn't quite manage to spring out of bed yesterday morning so ended up with a shortened run, but at least I got up and out! It was chilly - only 25 degrees - brr! My legs didn't seem to want to warm up, and they felt a bit cold and stiff throughout the run. Started out with my headlamp on and was treated to a beautiful sunrise along the powerlines.

Ran the neighborhood loop but added on a little extra to get in 4 miles by running up along the quarry and by the Heath. The Heath was looking nice and frosty with a thin layer of ice on the sections of open water, and the sky had that very pretty pastel pink hue of early morning.
