The rest of the day was spent swimming, doing a fun easter egg hunt in the yard for Sam with the eggs containing fun math problems, exercises and other silly things, and visiting the library in downtown Wallace, along with some reading, crafting and card playing. It was wonderful to be able to sit out on the covered porch for lunch and dinner and enjoy the birdsong and the green anoles who climb around all over the place. No hummingbirds yet, but we did see a young hawk (possibly northern harrier or cooper's hawk?) catch a bird from the bushes out back - pretty neat! All in all a good first full day of vacation!
